Enter your units to estimate your monthly bijli bill with the NEPRA CY2026 tariff — slabs, fixed charges, FCA, QTA, surcharge and GST, all itemised.
Take the units from your latest bill or meter reading difference.
Not sure? Leave it on Auto. Your printed bill shows your actual category — protected status depends on your last 6 months of usage.
Shown on your bill as sanctioned load. The fixed charge is per kW per month.
Copy the FPA rate from your last bill. It changes monthly. Lifeline consumers are exempt — it is forced to 0 for lifeline.
Quarterly Tariff Adjustment per unit. Also not charged to lifeline consumers.
Charged to unprotected consumers. It normally does not apply to protected consumers and never to lifeline.

Source: NEPRA uniform Schedule of Tariff for CY2026, notified 12 February 2026, effective 1 January 2026, applied by all DISCOs including K-Electric.
This is an estimate, not your official bill. Your actual bill can differ because of arrears, the number of meter-reading days, late payment surcharge and DISCO-specific adjustments.
Almost every household in Pakistan has opened a summer bill and wondered where the number came from. The NexToolz Electricity Bill Calculator rebuilds that bill step by step using the uniform Schedule of Tariff notified by NEPRA for calendar year 2026 — effective 1 January 2026 — the same rates charged by LESCO, IESCO, FESCO, MEPCO, PESCO, HESCO, SEPCO, GEPCO, QESCO, TESCO and K-Electric.
The core of the bill is the slab system. Lifeline consumers (up to 100 units) pay the lowest, progressively priced rates. Protected consumers — those who have stayed at or below 200 units for the last six consecutive months — pay mid-range rates, while everyone above that is billed at unprotected rates. Crucially, for protected and unprotected consumers the rate of the slab your total falls into applies to all your units, which is why crossing 200 or 300 units makes the whole bill jump, not just the extra units. On top of the energy cost come the fixed charge (per kW of sanctioned load), Fuel Price Adjustment (FCA), Quarterly Tariff Adjustment (QTA), the Debt Servicing Surcharge where it applies, and finally 18% GST on the subtotal.
Two old charges are gone for good: the TV fee and Electricity Duty are no longer charged on DISCO bills — both were removed in 2025 — so if any estimate still adds them, it is out of date. Use this calculator to check a bill that looks wrong, to predict next month's bill before it arrives, or to see exactly how much you would save by keeping your usage under 200 units. The result is an estimate: arrears, meter-reading days and late payment surcharges can make your printed bill differ.

Frequently asked questions
How is my electricity bill calculated in Pakistan?
Your bill starts with the energy cost: your units multiplied by the rate of the slab they fall into. The fixed charge for your sanctioned load is added, along with Fuel Price Adjustment (FCA), Quarterly Tariff Adjustment (QTA) and the Debt Servicing Surcharge where applicable. Finally, 18% GST is charged on the subtotal to give your total bill.
What is the difference between protected and unprotected consumers?
A protected consumer is one whose electricity use has stayed at or below 200 units per month for the last six consecutive months. Protected consumers pay noticeably lower per-unit rates. If your usage crosses 200 units, you move to the unprotected category and higher rates apply to all your units.
What is FCA (Fuel Price Adjustment) on my bill?
FCA — printed as FPA on most bills — passes the monthly change in fuel costs for power generation on to consumers. It is charged per unit, the rate changes every month, and it can be positive or negative. Lifeline consumers are exempt from FCA.
Why did my bill jump so much after 200 or 300 units?
Because of single-slab repricing: for protected and unprotected consumers, the rate of the slab your total units fall into is applied to every unit, not just the units above the slab limit. Crossing 200 units also removes protected status, so the higher rate hits your entire consumption at once.
Is the result of this calculator my exact bill?
No, it is an estimate based on the notified CY2026 tariff. Your actual printed bill can differ because of arrears, the exact number of meter-reading days, late payment surcharge and other DISCO adjustments. Always treat your DISCO bill as the official amount.
Why use this tool?
A Pakistani electricity bill piles up half a dozen different charges — slab rates, fixed charges, FCA, QTA, surcharge and GST — so the final number feels impossible to verify. This calculator itemises every rupee using the notified NEPRA CY2026 tariff, so you can spot a wrong bill, predict next month's bill in seconds, and see the real saving from staying inside a cheaper slab.
